Concealed Carry Pastors

Fearing for their flock, N.J. pastors seek concealed carry gun permits

“Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition”

The above saying is believed to have originated by a clergyman, as Pearl Harbor was being bombed, at the start of World War II in 1942.  Many religious leaders understand violence must be stopped with an effective deterrent such as guns; however some detest all forms of violence and don’t allow use of firearms.  Why is Concealed Carry against religious principles?
